Facilities :

At Gifford Lodge we offer four beautifully appointed accommodation options including two suites and an en-suite bedroom upstairs in the lodge and one semi-detached en-suite Garden Room, all with decks or balconies. With a maximum of eight guests at any time, we can ensure your stay is peaceful and enjoyable.

We have two separate guest lounges, a breakfast dining room and an elegant formal dining room. For those warm winter stays, the formal lounge has a cosy fire and luxurious furniture, ensuring comfort and adding to the pleasure of conversation, reading or simply sitting back with your feet up. In the library we have a range of books, magazines and DVDs which you can enjoy on the TV in your room or, you can sit back and enjoy it on the big screen TV in the informal lounge.

For those lovely summer days, the doors open out onto sun drenched decks which flow around the lodge, giving a lovely indoor outdoor flow and informality.

18 HOLE. Men par 71. Women par 71.
GOLF SHOP open daily with all golfing equipment. Club, trundler and cart hire.  PRACTICE putting green and nets.  WARKWORTH GOLF COURSE is an exceptionally well groomed course with all year grassed fairways. The course offers a challenge to all golfers with lakes, bunkers and excellent greens. The course has a rural outlook. CLUB HOUSE is and open daily with catering and bar services. This is a new, modern club house with full changing and shower facilities.

Omaha Beach Golf Course approx. 12 kms
Bordered by the sea on one side and a natural estuary on the other, it is a course that offers some unique and pleasant surprises as you travel around it; a Totara Grove adjacent to one hole, a stand of Kaihiketea providing shelter to a boardwalk that delivers you to another, and with the estuary itself providing a new landscape, and challenge, as you progress around the course.

Wellsford Golf Course approx. 18 kms
Situated about 45 minutes drive north of Auckland, New Zealand and situated directly alongside State Highway One, this long established club now celebrating its 76th year as a Golf Club. The fairways and greens are in fine condition and the ongoing improvements have brought us up to the expectations of the modern golfer. We consider this course to be the equal of and in several instances superior to a number of other courses in the north.
